The friend of mine is going to have a family vacation next month. They are going to Cuba where the place is warm and beautiful beaches. She also asks me if we had planned to visit my family back in our country. I know most people just came back from their vacation. However, some folks are just planning to have a vacation. Today I find out that Outer Banks vacation rentals allow you to find a good place where you guys can have a beautiful vacation homes. I know most folk here in the United States are searching for a rental place that close to the ocean.
Now that our basement-remodeling job is nearly complete, it is time that we begin to focus on other upgrades that can improve the look and of the space. One of the things that we need to replace is the window in our basement bedroom. Formally, it was not a bedroom and the window is single pane and provides little insulation. I am sure we can find some good virginia replacement windows that can be promptly installed and that will help to reduce our heating and cooling bills.
I am always happy when my lunch hour comes around at work. I have several friends there and we usually take our lunch together. One of us is in charge of finding a fun place to eat. It’s a challenge to find someplace new; we try out different types of restaurants that offer options on food choice.
Last week we ate at a Mexican restaurant that was really good and we plan to make a return trip there. We also ate at a little Chinese place where we usually end up at once a month. When someone is having a birthday, they can expect to be embarrassed with singing waiters and a piece of cake.
We try to eat out only a few times a week because it is expensive, so other times we bring our lunches and spend the hour on work premises chatting and unwinding from the earlier part of the day.
When I am the only one having lunch, I bring a book to read and my company has a TV location.
There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you’re wearing to say something about you, about who you are…

This has been a very busy week. It has helped that the weather has been rather pleasant. It has not been hot or rainy. Instead, the daytime temperature has ranged in the mid to upper 60s with partly cloudy to clear skies. The 60-degree weather has been great for yard-work and handling other chores outdoors. My husband and I patched our driveway, and the results were quite good. Although I expect that, we will need more asphalt to complete the job. On tomorrow, the weather should be much nicer, so I doubt that we will do much more work around the house. Instead, I expect that we will take advantage of the nice weekend weather to make our inaugural visit to Six Flags this year.
Recently, a friend of mine was complaining that she and her husband had amassed significant debt during a period of unemployment. Although they now both have jobs, she was worried that their debt would stifle any hope of financial recovery anytime in the near future. After complaining about their predicament for weeks, she ultimately told me about how she learned that there were law firms that specialize in negotiating to reduce consumer debt. Her research led her to an attorney named Sheila Cockburn, who practices in the firm Cockburn & Associate LLP, and has built an impressive record of negotiating reductions in her clients’ debts. Her recent settlement record is nothing less than astounding. I was stunned to learn that Ms. Cockburn has negotiated recent settlements resulting in debt reductions of anywhere from 20% to 69%! Although it is true that debt settlements will not completely wipe out a borrower’s financial woes, they go a long way towards putting people back on the path to financial security.
I was planning to
share these pictures last night, but since I was so sleepy, I decided to post them this morning. The cherry blossoms reached their peak bloom late this year because of the weather. Unfortunately, shortly after the blossoms fully opened we had heavy rain, which washed many of the blossoms from the trees. Overall, the weather did not cooperate this year to permit most people to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival. Generally, we have been having cool or rainy weather on the weekends with nice and warm weather during the week. Therefore, the blossoms really opened and reached peak bloom in the middle of a week and were already turning green by the time we had good weekend weather. Overall, I am just happy that we had an opportunity to attend the festival, which has become a tradition for our family.

One of my husband’s cousins is an accomplished music producer. In fact, he produced a gospel singer who won a Grammy award. When we were recently in Memphis to visit my in-laws, we stopped by his house and our kids had a chance to visit his recording studio. He has all sorts of high-end equipment from a pop filter to an impressive keyboard and speakers. He actually was in the process of creating a new tune when we stopped-by. It sounded pretty good, but I hope he discards the portion on which he was assisted by my oldest daughter.
I know spring break is over a week ago and I should be back into my blogging business world. But, since the weather is very good for gardening playing with my kids out side. I could not help myself enjoying the weather and delaying to update my entire site. I know that it is important to update my blog three times a week to maintain or to gain my PR. However, since I have another responsibility to take good care I chose those first. Hope everyone understood my situation.
Anyhow, let me stop here now so that I can load our dirty clothes to the washing machine. Because tomorrow we are going to down town D.C, to see the beautiful cherry blossom trees.
Happy weekend every one.
I wish I knew about Korg Keyboards before I bought another brand for my oldest daughter for Christmas. The keyboard that she has is good, but its features pale in comparison to those of the Korg mini-synthesizer. What is amazing that the mini is less than $600, which makes its price very competitive with other nice keyboards. I think analog synthesizers have a warmer and more inviting sound, which provides an even stronger reason to go for a Korg over virtually any of the popular keyboards.
